About Good Ink
If you love what you do and love what happens when you do it well, Good Ink wants to write for you. We know that we do our best work when we’re just as psyched about your business as you are - and thankfully, we are easily psyched. Some of our favorite people to write for include non-profits, businesses working for sustainability and the environment, health professionals, educators, small and local businesses, and all-around awesome folk.
We are believers in heroic action, exquisite writing, and client loyalty. And cookies. We are also big believers in fresh-baked cookies.
Great, but who’s that behind the curtain?

What makes you so special?
I’ve been a freelance copywriter for nearly eight years, and in that time I’ve met a lot of great people running amazing businesses. They provide a myriad of much-needed services, from making the best organic granola bars to changing how we get our medical care. All of these people have two things in common: they’re trying to change the world, and they don’t have time to write their own copy.
These good people told me stories of the mythical copywriter of their dreams. This copywriter would listen intently to the tone, voice and message that needed to be communicated and would write with a fine ear for language and content. This copywriter would learn to understand and care about the business’ message and audience, so the copy was always speaking with purpose, always working to persuade and compel. This copywriter would also do anything necessary to deliver their drafts on time, even fight off flying ninja monkeys.
They had me at flying ninja monkeys. I wanted to be that copywriter.
I founded Good Ink in 2007 to give me a base of operations for my heroics. My office wall art includes Picasso’s Don Quixote, a quote from Steinbeck, and my degree in English from the University of Chicago. I work for good people from New York to California and I currently live in Boulder, Colorado, where I rejoice in the local farmer’s market and really good chai.
